Sarah Love Nickel

Born and raised in Southern California, Sarah moved to the Central Coast in 2016 to begin her journey in the wine industry. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Tourism Management from California State University, Northridge, she began building a career rooted in hospitality, guest experience, and a deep appreciation for wine.
With experience at several top wineries across Santa Barbara County, Sarah has led Wine Club programs, created lasting connections with members, and helped deliver elevated wine country experiences. Her passion for authentic hospitality and storytelling continues to shape her approach to every guest interaction.
At Center of Effort, Sarah brings vibrant energy, fresh ideas, and a thoughtful perspective that perfectly aligns with our mission. She works closely with our Hospitality and Culinary teams to refine Wine Club offerings and collaborate on unforgettable events—ensuring each guest feels a genuine connection to the winery.
“I was immediately drawn to Center of Effort’s commitment to sustainable viticulture, natural fermentation, and progressive winemaking,” Sarah says. “The focus on quality and meaningful guest connections is something I truly value, and I’m excited to help deepen that experience for our members.”
When she’s not at the winery, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring local food and wine spots, and hosting gatherings with friends!
